From your first inquiry to the delivery of your finished artwork, the Brandyl Calley Photography experience is thoughtfully designed to provide a seamless, luxury maternity and newborn photography experience for families in Snyder, Lubbock, Midland, Abilene, and throughout West Texas. Every session includes personalized planning, access to a curated studio wardrobe, and guidance in creating timeless portraits that beautifully capture this fleeting season of your family’s story. My goal is to make the entire process relaxed and meaningful, so you can simply enjoy the moment while we create images that will be treasured for generations.
THE PROCESS
STEP 01
Initial Phone Call
Start by scheduling a call to discuss your session and ensure we’re the perfect fit. Choosing the right photographer is an important decision, and we’re here to make the process seamless and enjoyable. Our goal is to capture this moment in life through timeless, artistic portraits.
A non-refundable session fee is required at the time of booking to reserve your date.
STEP 02
Design Consultation
Your session is designed exclusively for you and your family. I’ll guide you through every detail to ensure a seamless, personalized experience so when the day arrives, all you need to do is show up, relax, and enjoy your session.
STEP 03
Session Experience
We pose for the most flattering portraits and offer a curated
wardrobe selection. Professional hair and makeup services are available, and our warm, inviting studio provides a calm space for
you and your baby. Maternity sessions are best scheduled
between 30 and 34 weeks of pregnancy, before expecting moms become too uncomfortable. Newborn sessions are best
between 7-14 days old when they’re naturally sleepy, allowing us to. capture the images you envision. To ensure availability, we recommend booking during your second trimester.
STEP 04
Portrait Reveal
Your session is just the beginning of preserving these special memories. After your shoot, you'll receive a proof gallery where we’ll meet in studio and help you select your favorite images. Once you've made your choices, we dedicate time to meticulously retouch each one to perfection. During your Portrait Reveal, you'll have the opportunity to choose and purchase the images and products you love.

01. Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
I’m based in Snyder, Texas, and proudly serve families throughout West Texas, including Lubbock, Abilene, Midland, and surrounding communities.
02. How do I book a session?
You can book directly through my website’s contact form or by emailing me. Once we confirm your date, a session fee secures your spot, and we’ll go over all the details to create your personalized photography experience.
03. How far in advance should I book a newborn session?
I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for newborn, maternity, or popular times of year. Newborn sessions ideally are scheduled during your pregnancy to secure flexibility for baby’s arrival.
04. When is the best time for maternity photos?
I recommend between 28–36 weeks. This is when your bump is beautifully visible, and you’re usually still comfortable moving and posing.
